Ordering has now opened for Fiat’s 500L Trekking, the latest addition to Fiat’s 500L range.? This new flag ship model of the 500L range features a more rugged body-style with redesigned bumpers and side-skirts, and extra specification as standard including two different part-leather trims, five-inch touchscreen radio with bluetooth, cruise control, parking sensors, automatic lights, 17″ alloy wheels, traction+ technology and a different suspension setup that raises the body by 13mm. The traction+ technology is a more advanced version of Fiats stability control system that intervenes when there is wheel slip up to 19mph controlling the braking helping traction without the need of four wheel drive giving excellent performance when driving off. Another feature that is standard on the entire trekking range is an automatic emergency braking system called “City Brake Control”. There are a choice of seven different colours when buying a Trekking with the option of a black or white roof with the Hip Hop Yellow shown above unique to the the model. The choice of engines remains the same as the standard 500L with pricing for the 1.4 94bhp starting at ?17,095 and the 0.9 TwinAir coming in at ?18,590. There are also a 1.3 MultiJet diesel which comes with the choice of a manual or Dualogic automatic gearbox starting at ?18,590 and ?19,490 with a 1.6 104bhp diesel available at ?19,590.
